Since Athena had taken the scouting party out to assess the new land that Obscura wished to claimed, the earthen woman had been keeping to herself. There were always chores to do and plenty of things to occupy her time so she never found herself bored or anything. Sleep is still wrapped tightly around her when a howl rents the early morning air, issuing a challenge to Obscure wolves and immediately wakes the woman.

There is no armor for her don and, when the bush dog arrives to alert her, Athena is already gathering her little owl into her scruff and is swift to take off for the front lines. Scylla is just finishing her speech by the time she spies the colorful invaders and she watches as the small Sovereign dives in toward the leader of the raiding group.

Amber eyes find the pastel beauty beside the taken opponent and she angles herself to intercept the enemy. There are no greetings, no words offered to the yearling that has crossed their borders uninvited because, honestly, Athena is still waking up and she simply wishes to repel the invaders so that Obscura can get back to their morning.

Athena approaches the similar height teen straight on, snarling as she moves in and attempts to slam her chest into the yearling’s while her head moves, striking out to try and grab ahold of the pastel wolf’s muzzle. Fur bristles as she goes.
