Liminal Space

Identification was ready to set off for the wall, but today would be a day of relaxation before she had done such a journey. Ears twist and turn upon her cranium as emerald eyes glitter across the strange pool around her, it was quiet. Her tail giving a flick at her sides to ward off pesky insects. She slept a little father away as the sounds of another seemed to slowly stir the blonde woman. And honestly it wasn't a bad idea for the woman to get from the way to late, especially since she's been off and on with a slumber today. A yawn only to be followed by a stretch was given. Yes, it was time to wake.

Her paws carried her briskly across the ground as ears perk at the stranger laying there. Not knowing exactly when he took rest, probably the one that she heard while sleeping. Allowing the stranger to rest, she'd hunt. Offering a sign of peace, that she meant no harm. After all she wasn't as large as he was, but they both were here now. And she didn't know if he had eaten lately. Rabbits were down in their burrows for the night, and deer were down for sleep. The musky scent of them with their young drifted on the light winds. She could always fish and see what she would catch. Had to be something within the water. Right? With that she watched, and waited for what felt like for hours. The purple hue of water making it slightly harder. Attention was pulled away from the water to the dark shadows.

Eyes shot in the direction. Fur rose along her spine. Sure she didn't know the stranger she shared the area with but wasn't about to allow threats. So she set into motion towards the sounds. A low growl slipping from her maw, a small rogue coyote ran off away from the lady. Rubbing her body against the trees to warn off intruders, then moving back to the water, waiting for fish to come up to the edge.
