Tarnish snagged the woman's left foreleg in his jaws. Success! Well… kind of. He managed to grab her leg and pull but not soon enough. She managed to get her other leg down and re-stabalize her balance. Shoot. He saw her fangs shoot down toward his face. He swiftly let go and twisted his head up to try and counter, seeking to bite onto her nose. He wanted to snap down hard in an effort to cause bleeding and pain that would make her recoil. He wasn't interested in getting a hold, that could cause severe damage and he was trying to be reasonably well-behaved. As he fought he attempted to keep his defenses set, in particular keeping his ears pinned to his head and out of reach.
