Kaizen slowed to a walk, a slight tremble in his legs as the adrenaline ran through his system, slowly but surely catching his breath. It was dark here, he noticed, the thick canopy above casting shadows not unlike the maze. He might have explored if he was alone, but even if they had escaped the bull elephants rage, his distaste for Lumine had not waned in the least.
