It was the request of her companions that Sucre had gone south toward the bifrost. While the thin strip of land wasn't ideal for the small cat, who wasn't particularly fond of water, she knew the open water would make her friends happy. The small orange feline has been waiting on the sandbar, warily flicking her gaze to the water as the waves brushed against the sand. It was scary to think that if the water suddenly had a surge a wave could knock her into the sea. If it wasn't for that wariness she might have tried to fish herself… but the risk of the moving water was too great in her mind. She decided to stretch, head sweeping down toward her forelegs as her back arched and her tail swept over her body. “Mmm…” Ears suddenly perked and body went rigid at bellowing down the sandbar. The tiny feline froze, green gaze shifting up fearfully. What in the name of all that was good and holy was THAT!?
Sucre’s heart hammered in her chest as her ears flicked back flat against her skull. Shit, shit, shit… Then came the roar. Great, another predator! At least this one was feline, though that didn't mean she couldn't become a target. She was tiny enough that most carnivores could decide they wanted to make her a snack… and Sucre was afraid to fight. She’d much rather run and avoid the danger.
Unfortunately Anna and Nina had other ideas. The two penguins popped their heads out of the water and Anna waved a flipper towards the fight. “Come on! We might need to help chase that blubberball off!” Wait… wait wait wait…! They wanted her to help!? “Are you two out of your minds!?” Sucre yowled. They would die… that thing would squish them! But her friends were already making towards the fight in the water. Sucre quivered… she couldn't leave them but…
“We are going to die… The cat groaned, racing across the sandbar after them. What did the penguins even expect them to be able to do?
