Her little white paws were not so little anymore. On the cusp of her first birthday, she bounded away from the cattails by the creek and followed the sound of Eltrys's call. She hadn't attended the last lesson because it was about fighting and she didn't care about fighting. Her stinky brother certainly didn't show up either. She wondered if her brother would show up to this one.
Oooo! What's that? Was this the type of frog that made people sick if they licked it or felt funny? The call of the polar bear echoed over the falls and she was pulled away from her distraction as if she had been kicked! That was Saga! Better move! She was close at least! She broke out into a leggy run, her paws just felt a little too big and her legs a little too long.
There! She was here! Before taking in the surrounding she sat in a rush next to Saga looking expectantly up at Eltrys. Her chest heaving as she was catching her breath. She gave Saga a quick cheesy smile with too many teeth and turned back to the teacher.
