Hattori would claim that he was above casting blame, but from what his granddaughter told him it very much sounded as though this was Vidarr's fault. If he had no faith in his own healers, Hattori would have-not for outside trade or diplomacy, but to help an old friend. That was all it had to be. But he hadn't asked, thought he could handle it alone in his own way with faith and words that were ultimately empty. And to think he'd let her raid- Hattori was not an angry man, nor full of rage or vengeance, it was all shoved deep down, he pretended it did not exist and yet such things always came to the surface. One day. "And where is he now? He just left?" He didn't expand on why he was asking, his lips pursed tight. |
