United We Rise

The call from Eltrys, summoning together those who wished to learn finds Jericho lazily treading water in the salty ocean that butts up behind Polaris. A sigh pushes small ripples out from the area underneath his mouth and he flattens his ears, sucking in a deep breath and dies underneath the surface one more time. He has found that swimming is a nice way to pull out the excess heat his body builds and, right now, it up from chasing wild life around.

The young man wishes to be stronger, to do better for his family and by chasing rabbits and the like around, he finds that he is building up his stamina for fights. As the water pulls away the last of the extra heat, Jericho swims toward the shore, only surfacing when his paws touch sand. Wadding out of the briny depths, he steps from the lapping waves onto golden sands and shakes his coat free of the fat, heavy drops of water that linger.

Saga’s bellowing roar his Jericho winching and he is quick to set off to where Eltrys waits to give a lesson. With granules of sand lodged in various spots on his still wet coat, the rainbow-striped boy arrives at the summit of falls and offers the earthen man a sheepish smile as he quickly wiggles his way into the crowd of gathered wolves and bear. The smell of the salty sea hangs around his form as he settles in near Riv, offering the man a smile before turning his attention back to Eltrys.
