Blubber in your teeth

Walking along the obsidian stone beach, Sephiran’s large, amethyst frame seems suspended against a backdrop of jagged clings and turbulent waves. The smooth, volcanic glass is slick beneath his paws, ranging from small pebbles to larger shards, glistening beneath the midday sun. There was heat trapped beneath the stone too - the ebony coloration trapping the sun’s warmth, which was a striking contrast to the frigid waters lapping at the shore.

The warmth was inviting- especially to the sea-dwelling creatures that infested the waters between the island and The Polar Sound. One of them found a perch of their own- a massive leopard seal having propped itself up onto a large slab of obsidian, enjoying a midday nap in his domain.
