pinned ya again

Odette’s tufted ears swiveled as she crouched on the landing above the entrance to the utility caverns. She already loved poaching the kitchen when there were adults in there preparing food. She couldn’t say the same for the baths though. Drying her feathers was already a nightmare and she didn’t even have all of them yet! Odette loved being in high places, she was always scaling the walls with her leopard like legs, sometimes feeling like she was more cat than wolf.

With her wings tucked in tightly against her body when she closed her eyes Ode became one with the shadows. She hid up here now, unusually still for one her age, but she was on a mission. The next wolf that walked in Odette was jumping on from her perch, she just had to be patient.
