Me But Not Me

Following the raid, Siduri hadn't quite been herself. Granted, she hadn't quite been herself for seasons, but she felt it all the same. The steady ticking within her skull was driving her mad, like some great metronome that banged back and forth in her mind. It was loud, drowning out the rest of the world around her until all sound was tick, tick, tick, tick.
Siduri tried to hold on, reminding herself that, whatever was happening to her, it would pass. She always came back, right? It was horrible to lose herself in the first place, but she always came back. The pastel fae paced back and forth in front of her tree house, spin, walk, spin, walk, like some caged tiger. Moving gave her something to do. Sitting still would have just made her go mad more quickly.
The fae's long, snow while tail lashed back and forth with each turn, the light spattering down through the foliage casting mottled sun spots upon her pastel patched coat. Swirled eyes were hard and were mostly fixed upon the ground before her, though thought would dart this way and that as though staring at invisible beings. Where was Sakana? Where was her father?
