their challenge rose in the air-, Érebos's ears sensitive to opposition. a fate they sealed for themselves then. but not quite yet-, Érebos intended to make this noteworthy. aiming at their head every chance he could, he was a righteous foe. Érebos was a relentless enemy to have. "What's your name wolf." a demand again as he steps closer, slowly encircling the man and his dogs with a predatory gaze that fixated on them, studying them & their faces. his shoulders protruding and creating a broken outline as he moved, paws splayed on the terrain with each deliberate step he made. he imprinted on them with his calculative mind, saving them in mental photo logs by the hundreds. his hawk then came circling back, crying to notify Érebos as they quickly came to fly above his larger form.

Érebos was stoic in every sense outside of himself. his exterior impenetrable, secretive and unmoving. his voice was booming with vocal depth, daemonic almost with the bass present there. important & gruff, concise and even- he was far from a bluff. but one could say his speech felt nearly neutral, if not casual. "My name is Érebos dunamis." he called out, loud enough for the brute to hear clearly. his ears swiveled atop his board crown, his large angular maw coming to loosely hang open as his gaze twinkled something of sadistic intrigue. "I can't let you go so easily." he admitted, nose flaring once as he shot a sharp exhale out his wet nostrils. "I have a good feeling about you." he slid on his horned armor, his teeth clicking as he closed his maw for the final time before drawing in air. and he set off quickly after, seizing the man in a sudden break forward. he leaps into the air with springing force & extended arms, intending to rain down on the smaller wolf with fangs bared. he did not discriminate, was not picky about which animal he bit into. all the same, he went and delved deep for a morsel of flesh to remember them by.
