Bug Eyed Worm

The peace of the cozy cove had been disrupted by this wormy beast. Her dark charcoal tail waggled behind her high and aggressive as the creature lumbered and lunged at her with a wet and grotesque roar. She snapped her teeth together at it with a snarl in her throat.

Their attentions were suddenly drawn away from each other by a low bark. Down the pebbly shoreline, Zagan perched on a beached log. The obvious owner of the distracting bark. The beast made to make a lumbering move toward him when she saw her opportunity. HAH! She leaped onto the slimy back and dug her teeth in behind its uggy buggy eyes. Growling and pulling and thrashing her head back and forth while it reared up and twisted about trying to dislodge her. She wasn't so easily cowed and she dug nin deeper, slowly making her way closer to swipe and claw at its eyes.
