Bane hadn't meant to startle the youngster but surmised that it was to be expected of one as young and inexperienced as the pup before him. A nice little display of attempted aggressiveness... probably out of fear more than anything else. The northern wolf was eyed critically and relaxed upon detecting no immediate threat from Bane's eased posture. the ex-Seracian wolf tucking in his chin towards his chest and giving a wry grin of his own at youngsters submissive gesture. "Your a long ways away for home northern one." The twice banished rumbled with his one milky blue eye trained at the Glaciem.

Confirmation about the pup definitely being from Glaciem was murmured. Bane took a pace closer and brought his eye right up to the young wolfs muzzle and inhaled deeply the scent of his guest to store away to in his memory. "I don't mind visitors as long as they don't cause trouble for me and now... you've got me curious... what is a Glaciem wolf such as yourself doing so close to Seracia? Evidently there is a war on... Prisoners are being taken by both sides I've heard and I'm sure you don't want to be taken away from your sire or dame.
