Lucette had missed her children dearly in the time that she had been kept away from them. Her children were adults now, a strange thought, especially with the naivety some of them still had. They were still growing, and no matter how old they became, they would always be her little ones. Each of them caused Lucy to worry in different ways. Iki for his laid back yet kind nature, Gavroche for his reckless and stubborn streak, Sou for her insecurities… her poor little Sou. The girl had struggled since she was little to keep up with her siblings. She learned slower, and Lucette’s heart ached at how it frustrated her daughter.

Lucy wouldn’t give up on her though. She knew Sou longed to help her family, and even as an assistant when treating patients the girl could do that. Maybe she wouldn’t always have the plants name, uses, or looks down… but that was okay. The girl was fine the way she was.

Searching for her daughter, the pixie-sized woman would find her by the gentle waters of the creek cleaning some of the plants she had collected. Lucy’s green gaze softened as she walked up beside her daughter, giving her shoulder a loving nuzzle before looking down at the plants. “Cleaning the plants of dirt and other undesired mess is a task some might overlook.” Her voice is soft. “It’s good you remember the importance of it.”

Wearing a small smile, Lucette watched her daughter, hoping to offer reassurance when her daughter’s mind began to shift inward on itself. “Have you collected a lot of plants since I’ve been gone?”

"Speech," 'Thought.'

Lucette has two companions - a kodkod and a saw-scaled viper. Unless otherwise mentioned IC, assume that they are close by.

Bae-Syl, as Lucette's bestie, guardian, and mate is welcome to invade her threads at any time regardless of how they are marked.
