How Does This Make You Feel?

Kaija's words brought a genuine little smile to Scylla's face and the Sovereign sighed. Well, she couldn't keep her down there now. They'd shared a little moment. Kaija wondering if someone had been thinking of her... it made her real, in a sense. Sharing her hopes... What a softie.

A moment later Scylla disappeared from the mouth of the pit and it may have looked as though she was just leaving, her experiment finished. Soon a chunk of wood would appear over the edge and would slowly slide down into the pit. Scylla was careful of where Kaija lay so that she wouldn't get squished. "Come on," she bid her prisoner. "Up the ladder."

Surely some would think the Klein woman mad for releasing a wolf that she'd blatantly experimented on, but Scylla was just like that. She did her own thing, the opinions of others be damned. The small fae waited at the top of the ladder for Kaija to climb up, then, once the tusked woman was on solid ground, Scylla shook a little stone crock at her. She then tipped the crock to her lips and took a sip, putting the same fuzzy sedative in her own system that Kaija had been subjected to. "Let's go get a drink, shall we?"
One nimble paw rose and motioned for Kaija to proceed her out of the pit den.
