His companions thwarted, Gavroche was going to need to change tactics. Dawn hissed as she diverted from helping Gav to keeping the dog busy. Another feline has tackled Arachne leaving the last companion to heckle Gav. He ducked his head and kept his ears pinned. The pecks hurt a little but they weren't as big a “threat” as Dusk was. Rounding on his paws as she swept toward him, Gavroche lunges himself at her paw with the hopes of wrapping dexterous digits into a hold. He attempts to do the same with his muzzle but the bite is clearly not meant to do damage with its speed and angle. He wanted to clamp on Dusk and become a weight that would make it harder to get around the battlefield… and so he could make sure that all of this was really alright.
