It wasn't long before a familiar face rose from the distance horizon, answering the call. A smirk formed on Alaric's maws as he watched as Erebos strolled forwards. So his suspicion was correct. "Erebos." He nodded his head and flicked an ear dismissively. "They will stay out of it this time." Alaric's gaze shifted to the two cane corsos, watching as they settled up on their hinds. With that, Alaric quickly set his defenses. His legs widened for extra balance but not too much, his claws dug into the soft earth for stability. His chin tucked to protect vital organs. His hackles rose in defense along his spine.

There was little time for else. Erebos charged at him like a mad bull and he a Matador. Alaric would move to the side in a instant, dancing away from the horned helmet and avoiding any serious injuries. Instead, the helmet merely grazed his shoulder in the process, causing some fur to be removed from the area. Alaric's body was now perpendicular to Erebos, with his back end away from the male. Alaric's black maws splayed open and he sought the side of Erebos's neck. He was attempting to grab the side of the neck with a nasty bite.
