You know when something seems off but curiosity urges you onward?
Yeah, well, considering curiosity killed the cat Sucre probably shouldn’t have been poking her nose into this land, but her curiosity was far too great. Waking up to the sky being crimson had been a sight to see. Anna and Nina were less certain about going anywhere, but Sucre on the other paw felt a nagging in her gut, a pull toward some land in the west. And now that she was here, she was trying to make sense of what she saw. The pillars were tall, made of stone that was weathered and discolored in a way she’d never seen before. She reached a paw up to one, feeling its somewhat smoothed surface.
A scent was carried to her on the breeze and Sucre looked up. Down at one of the other stone spikes was another feline, larger than herself but still smaller than some of the wolves she had seen. Turning away her paws carried her toward him. He was so fluffy, with tufted ears and floofy cheeks. Her green gaze was shining as she spoke, calling out to him. “Have you ever seen anything like it?” She asked. She certainly hadn’t. Though she was still exploring all that Boreas had to offer.
