Watch the sun rise

Reaper was within the woods of Hellborn, navigating through the icy, cold, forest. He was following Mae's scent of of the pack territory and towards wherever she was going. He was doing this quietly, lagging behind her at a nice distance to avoid spooking her. He summed softly.to himself as he followed her, but the humming stopped as a mysterious red glow began forming in the distance horizon. He picked up his pace, eager to now close the distance between himself and Mae. The red grew bright and closer until a strange land was happened upon. Large, foreboding, spikes were rising from the earth. Reaper saw Mae and called out to her. "Oh! Mae!" He barked out as he trotted over. "My...what strange things these...spikes, are." He awed out loud, examining one closer. He leaned forwards to one, as if it to touch it. He explained it's surface, rasing a paw to gently tap at the spike.
