Once he had grown comfortable in this place, Kat found himself returning again to hone his skills. It took him a while to get used to new things. The first time he'd arrived, his skin had prickled with the sensation that everyone was watching him. But that simply wasn't true - the other wolves here came for the singular purpose of sparring and honing their skills, at least from what he could see. If your attention was diverted from sparring, you lost. It was as simple as that. Or so he told himself, to continue convincing himself that no one was paying attention to him. Not really. Katsurō stalked the edges of the grounds until he came to stand inside a massive ribcage that stretched high over his head, the bones stark white in the light of day, and called for an opponent. |
