The Elephant in the room

More wolves appear and Malico inclines his head in respectful greeting toward the woman who introduces herself and offers, “Malico Mendacium.” Simple, to the point and not unkind but the purple man is not one to use more words then is absolutely needed. Gaze turns to the fire-marked leader of the group as he gives instructions and the Mendacium man bows his head in understanding, waiting for the hunt to officially kick off.

At the barked orders to go, the purple male follows after the impromptu leader, sticking close enough to the other two adults to be of help if they need him. The youth effectively grab the great beast’s attention and he seems to materialize behind the creature, slipping up behind the back, right leg with practiced ease. With a snarl, he attacks the heel, using teeth and obsidian claws to work his way through the thick hide.

The beast blares in alarm and Malico is forced to retreat as it shuffles it’s legs in an attempt to turn and swing its trunk at him. Ducking away, he shoots a glance to the other two, hoping they can use the wounds he opened to get the hamstring and fell this grand animal.
