Calliope pulls back slightly, eyes narrowing at the crimson woman. Was this... a warning? Her mother had not raised her to be religious, but it was hard to deny what had happened seemingly overnight. Really, it should bring terror to most, but Calliope was fearless. Reckless, even. Taking a smooth step closer to the strange, Cal's head cants slightly, pastel eyes blinking slowly before she turns to look up at the towering spires.
The once still air stirs around them, swirling and tousling her fur. As it winds through the open holes in the towering metal, a dissonant sound of wailing prickles her ears. Her lips curl, annoyed by the sound. "So you're telling me this just happened over night?" Her voice is incredulous. No way this would've just appeared out of thin air. She looks around quickly, trying to find some sort of trick or trap.
"Abraxas above," Calliope gasps softly as she notices the look of terror on the etched faces at the bottom of the towers.

Warning: Calliope is callous, rude, and unpredictable. Do NOT expect nice things from her.
