Don't be an ass

The hint of something grey and white over the grassess and through the metal husks of old creations caught his attention. He moved slowly forward, a predator through the grass. Looking for the scent of the creatures his eyes had caught first. He angled to where the wind would blow him the scent, and after a little bit of circling, he caught it. It wasn’t something he was familiar with. It wasn’t deer, it was almost like horse, but…. Wrong.

Curiosity compelled him forward as he sought his prey, hunting through the long grass as he tracked down the animal. He didn’t have a name for it, but he didn’t need a name to kill it.
