Don't be an ass

Flare considered the wolves words, and decided they made sense. He had after all already decided it would be wise to take the advice of the other. He nodded his wood, making his agreement. The brown wolf already started to slink, and Flare was quick to follow.

They moved quietly for as long as they were able to. Once they were close enough, he launched himself forward. Heading for its throat, even as he knew Ultry would be going for its leg.

He found its throat with his fangs, and it let out an awful braying noise. Flicking his ears in protest, he was grateful when he felt the weight of the other wolf hit the ass. He dug into its throat, and felt its life blood leaking free. It thrashed, heavy and difficult to manage until at last his strike on its neck weakened it so much it couldn’t fight any longer. It collapsed on the ground, and Flare nodded towards the other. Inviting him to take the killing blow.
