Never a Dall day

Flare’s hunt was interrupted by the presence of another. The flame wolf flicked an ear towards the familiar sound of Ultry’s voice. When the words registered, he grinned. Huffing a soft laugh beneath his breath. “Deal.” He agreed easily.

The other wolf was already moving, before Flare could register that he had already leaped into action. With a furious snarl, Flare put on a burst of speed. Dashing across the hazardous ground towards the sheep. The Dall didn’t have the choice of moving quickly, stuck shepeding its baby across cracked earth, it realised it wasn’t going to make it. He could see its eyes rolling in fear, moments before Ultry touched her body before he did. “Fuck!” he snarled
