He's enchanted by it, actually. There's so much to see and so many things to smell, up here. Wolves. Wolves to smell. Wolves who weren't him, weren't his family, certainly weren't Raiders, and didn't know he was here. What could go wrong? What could go wrong for the boy who barely looks like a wolf and is having way too good a time exploring their home? Shit, is this their home, or do they just... like hang out here sometimes? It's an island, a floating rock, did anyone call floating rocks their home here?
A mountain springs up in the middle, he can see it off in the distance. Could he climb that? Did they climb that? Davey could be they'd be able to see everything from a vantage point like that. But also like, that's tiring. Living up there sounded a bit like ass garbage, having to climb up and down it all the time. Whoever lived up there had to be hella fit. Like, hella hella. The smell of mountain goats is pretty thick too, must have to do with the terrain. Thinking about his ma's goats, they really did like to climb. Holy shit, it's a goat paradise. Maybe they'd have to get a mountain too.
Davey isn't alone with his thoughts for very long, a girl around his age appearing from seemingly nowhere. Though she bristles, his tail only wags in response. The boy's face breaking into a grin, his eyes glimmering in the strange red light of the early afternoon. Really, the whole dog wiggles, with the wag of his tail. "I'm Davey!" He chirps, taking a bold step forward. "I fell into the ocean a ways back, and now I'm here." And here, here he was. She's taller, broader, than the boy. Gazing up at her, he can't help but grin.
"Davey"
