The feeling that he didn't quite belong here wasn't something Veigar could shake right away. He'd never really felt like he belonged anywhere though, so that wasn't exactly a surprising thing. The blind man's integration into the pack would be a slow process but it was a journey he wasn't deterred by. Wasn't like he had anywhere else to go, anyway. At least here he felt like... maybe not like he was among kindred souls, not really, but at least Scylla didn't act like he was damaged goods. Maybe she understood him, a little bit. Maybe someone else might too, eventually. Or maybe not. He wasn't exactly an optimist these days. He'd been wary to join her and Nero in their journey to this new land but he wanted to regardless. He didn't want to slow down the group though and he vowed to himself if he did that he'd abandon them. His blindness wasn't a secret here, not like it used to be. He carefully surveyed the scents as they went, using the sounds of his companion raven soaring high above to help orient him. His ears were always swiveling, attuned to the pawsteps of his traveling companions. He was a competent enough navigator despite his blindness. Veigar couldn't see what they could. He could, however, hear just how eerily silent this place was save for the wind that caused a strange cry to echo through the land. He could gather enough information about the world based on what the other two had said, but he didn't have all the information. "How tall are they?" He lifted a paw to carefully touch the stone, dragging it upward until he couldn't move it any further. |
Veigar is completely blind; his eyes are a hazy shade of pale yellow, though he tries his best to hide this fact.
His saliva also glows a faint shade of neon green since the Ooze event.
