She didn't stop him and she honestly had no way of stopping him from digging. The moment he took notice she was outside of the spire though he was upon her. His snarls had her quaking and teeth upon her throat as he shoved her into the ground making her squeeze her eyes shut. Her body hit the ground and a rush of air came from her lungs.

He didn't have to do much and her body was twisting as much as he would allow. Belly exposing and tail tucking. Breathing was hard for a moment as he clinched her tender skin below her chin. Body shuddering and she pressed her ears, body squeezing to be as small as possible. She knew these giants anger. If she flailed, thrashed or fought back, it would only increase their anger. "Never-"

His voice was not on deaf ears but her heart hammered in her chest. The blood in her ears rushing. then he was standing up and her tail was yanked, effectively lifting her tiny form and a silent what would of been yelp given to him. "Never go where I cannot reach you." He had likely intended for her to look him in the eyes, but she shirked and clenched them. Her eyes were watery but letting them know what hurt you is how you ended up hurt more usually, so she wouldn't cry now. Later when she slept maybe but not now.

She just nodded her head and was dropped back to the ground with a rush of air from her lungs. "Now tell me what you can of this place." She sat back up and shrinked under him, more submission and attempts to placate his anger. She hadn't meant to make him angry. She moved though grabbing the book from her bag and the pencil brush. She flipped it open to an empty page using the pencil to write out some words for him. He seemed angry enough to forget she had no voice but she still scribbled. 'About as much as you do likely master.' His answer in plain text before them. Once the words were wrote she slid the book into plain view and waited.
