It occurred to him as they twisted, teeth gnashing yet careful, that fighting happened so quickly. There was hardly time to get his bearings before Seiko bore their neck down into his jaws. Kat cursed inwardly, overextending his jaw to avoid clasping too tightly until he heard it click and felt a muscle pull painfully along his mandible and down along his neck. He knew without a doubt it would sore tomorrow. While he tried to wrench his jaw free of Seiko's neck to avoid hurting them or himself further, his sibling succeeded in swinging a leg over his shoulder. He grunted beneath their weight, then threw a final last attempt at unseating them by kicking up his back legs as hard as he could toward Seiko's soft underbelly to try and knock the wind out of them.
