They drove the others away, sending them hurtling off into the distance and leaving the bull to its own devices. Cackling wildly, Ripper turned and moved to join the others in harassing the main course. The wolves worked in tandem in an effort to take down the beast that dared trespass in soon-to-be Insomnian lands. Grim was right on his heels, the pair crossing over one another as Ripper went left and Grim went right. With a wild gleam in his eye, Ripper launched himself at the bison's hindquarters, sharp talons sinking into its rump, his own legs scrabbling where he could as the bull jerked, bucked, and kicked around. Its back hooves caught him a time or two in his own legs and stomach, causing him to gasp for air here and there, and even more-so when he sunk his jagged teeth into its flesh. Ripper of course, had little sense of self-preservation. He was getting the shit kicked out of him, but hey, at least he was slowing it down!
