Kai meandered along with Riot, though she wasn't her typical, perky self. She was still pissed that Nila had abandoned her, fleeing to The Hallows. She was even more pissed that they were edging closer to Hallows territory, which was where Nila would be. The gods had best keep her away... because Kai would decimate her former friend and lover if she caught sight of her.

As she and her sister arrived at the Shore, Kai's mismatched gaze shifted over the strange, rippling landscape. This was what all of the fuss was about? Whoopdy fuckin' doo. A soft huff ghosted through pink nares and the fae rolled her eyes. The ground began to rumble beneath her paws, throwing off her balance as though to prove that more was to come if she'd just sit down and be fucking patient. Kaino grumbled, ears flattened against her skull for a moment. She then took a good look at the changes in the land. If anything, she might be able to help Riot figure out what was going on.
