The fae continued to speak, musing aloud and wondering if the towers came from deep below, stemming from the caves themselves. The dire brute gave a slight shrug. "There are two ways to find out. We dig here and hope to not fall through, or we enter the caves and look up."

Seeing that the older wolf was digging, Quill sighed and began doing the same. Perhaps they would find some sort of answer after pulling enough earth away. He situated himself beside one of the earthen spikes and used his big paws to scoop away hardened earth. Maybe it would have been easier to dig in the softer section but Quill liked the security of having the tower beside him.
