Everything had seemed to slow down, but the adrenaline that coursed threw Mae's frame was still strong and thick as her own blood. Ears twisted against her skull as pastel cherry pink pools were closed tightly, yanking continuing as the predator soon feel to the ground, it's body still warm but blood painting her face and the ground under her. The woman didn't let go just yet though, one more thrash of her skull as a crunch was offered. Crushing the lions throat, making its air ways collapse. That's when she looked towards the younger one. Ears splayed to the side. "You are not hurt are you?" The female moved towards the pup, as reaching out with her maw. "What would have happened if the cat got the best of you?" She spoke her words laced with worry.
