Regardless as to whether or not the attacks by her ravens were successful in inflicting damage, it had seemed to successfully distract the reindeer and after Widows right hip had collided with the animal's chest leaving them both bruised, the reindeer backed off. Widows ravens then returned to the sky, circling above and watching, but enjoyed the breeze as they outstretched their wings and let it carry them with no effort of their own to stay aloft.
Although Bellatrix's raven was quiet in its descent and Widow didn't hear it coming, her cat kept a watchful eye from its place gripped into her scruff. As the raven came down to claw and scratch at the cats neck, the black feline lowered her body close to Widows neck, rolled her shoulders forward, tucked her chin, and narrowed her eyes before she swiped an angry left paw with flexed claws towards the birds flapping right wing where it connected to the right side of the body, seeking to drag her claws downwards against the tender right side of the bird as they were attacked and hissed as the birds claws connected with her left shoulder, creating minor scratches that bled lightly.
With Bellatrix at the forefront of Widows focus, she growled softly as her stomping attack missed entirely but it only fueled her fire, especially as the woman began to turn away from her and over her own right shoulder. Somehow her fangs also managed to miss their mark and by now she was starting to see red. Of course she knew the woman would be fast and able to slink out of her attacks if given the chance, but with the close quarters, Widow didn't expect her to be this successful.
Turning away from Widow gave Widow the advantage though, a few extra seconds of time to prepare for her next attack while watching Bellatrix through narrowed eyes to assume the smaller womans next move. Widening her stance for balance and spreading her toes for traction, she had expected Bellatrix to go after a hind paw given the angle and was prepared to sidestep out of the way if needed, but as the woman turned completely around and snapped at her face near her right eye instead, Widow quickly dodged and pulled her head up and back against her own shoulders with her chin tucked tightly to protect her throat as she moved, however she would not just dodge the attack. Using the momentum from pulling back so quickly, Widow focused her narrowed eyes on the back of Bellatrix's skull where it met the upper part of her neck and descended faster than she had ascended previously with her lips curled over her agape fangs, pinned ears, and a narrow gaze in an effort to grab a hold of not only the womans scruff, but her whole neck considering their size difference. In the same moment as Widows fangs sought the woman's upper neck scruff, Widow raised her front right paw swiftly and spread her toes to flex her claws before bringing her paw back down quickly, aiming to trap her opponents front left paw beneath her own right paw with the help of her flexed feline claws to pin the foot down and make it terribly uncomfortable to free given their weight difference and sharp feline claws.
