Widow Pack Challenge

The challenging call had been heard all the way to the Hallows, catching the attention of the Lord of Cinder. He had known of Bellatrix’s intentions to make another attempt at resurrecting Norad, so he wasn’t surprised to hear the young girl’s call for the new pack in the woods nearby. Artorias hadn’t yet had a chance to make the acquaintance of the new neighboring alpha, but he supposed he was about to see Widow in action yet again as the pair initiated a round two. Taking up his sword just in case—pack challenges could get quite rowdy after all—and gathering Ember and any of his wolves who wished to join in as spectators, Artorias led the short trek south to the Boneyard, intent to see history in the making. It was always so exciting to witness a pivotal moment in Ardent history like a pack challenge.
Arriving in the midst of the action, Artorias took in the sight from atop a hill. Bellatrix and Widow were really going at it with all they had. Around them, a throng of wolves had gathered; Widow’s pack behind her and Trixie’s supporters on her side with some other unaffiliated wolves also watching. Turning to Ember, Artorias motioned for his daughter to follow him and led the way down the hill to the ongoing battle. He selected a spot off to the side closer to Bellatrix’s supporters since he didn’t feel like trying to mingle with the Hellborn wolves at a time like this. "Watch the combatants and keep to ourselves. We’re here to observe only," he instructed Ember, casting a cursory and guarded glance over to Medusa on the opposite side of the arena with her wolves. He did not want to be the cause of conflict, but he didn’t trust the Insomnia wolves to not try something stupid—and he knew that Ember wouldn’t be like to let something go without retort if they did.
