Coran eyed the lines of churned earth that crossed through the east edge of the shimmering shore. He didn't see any spires but that didn't make him feel any less unnerved. Something about the earth seemed… off. As he stood there he could almost feel the vibrations of something down below. This warranted more investigation and so he moved to the nearest channel and began to dig. Spreading his toes wide, he pushed and shoved the soil back, trying to figure out how deep he should dig and wondering all the while what might be waiting below.
