Now shut your dirty mouth

Empousa explorations led her to a rather barren land today, although she seemed to fit right in. The dusty oranges and reds made her blend in against the canyon walls. Her head though was facing the rather odd columns of stacked rocks, she wanted to ask why, and more importantly HOW. But she had a feeling that very few knew of their origins beyond speculation. She turned to face the canyon walls as she found yet another cavern, which in all honesty she was a little worried about exploring. At least she didn't want to be alone when she did.

She came to a stop as she stared up the canyon walls, she did have to admit that while this area was clearly dead and did not offer much for the life that called this place home it was in an odd desolate way beautiful. She wondered if the sandstone here was hiding quartz beneath its rusty-colored exterior, or maybe the quartz sat deep within the caverns. She shuddered at the thought, she was not sure if she trusted the caverns not to cave in with her inside of them yet.
