Mortis had not intended to get separated from Isa, and he regretted that he had not stuck closer to his fathers partner. He hoped she was okay, wherever she had gotten to. Regardless, he realised quite quickly he was not alone, and the wolf he found himself with was not totally unknown to him. She wasn’t a wolf he had seen outside of raids, but he recognised her all the same. His younger brother's girlfriend.
He nodded his head to her, hoping it conveyed no issues between them. He was not a wolf who paid much attention to the politics around him, and he did not begrudge his brother any happiness.
