Epimethius did not know who Medusa was, but Epimethius was happy to help show this person that this rival was ready or not ready to participate in a bigger fight. He offered a nod to the younger wolf before introducing himself, "Names' Epimethius" he would say before getting prepared to fight the wolf in front of him.

Lowering himself to the ground before bolting forward, he would make quick work of the wolf in front of him. Whether it be that he was the loser or the winner, did not matter to him. He would aim to slam his chest into the smaller wolf, not hard enough to send him flying but hard enough to knock the wind out of his lungs. Then he would aim to get a solid bite at the nap of the boy's neck, not wishing to leave a gash just draw a little bit of blood.
