To anyone else, Kaino's rigid and hostile opinion on Nila could have been seen as a major red flag, but to Rogue he didn't see any warning signs from her. He saw the woman he cared deeply for hurting from a betrayal of someone close to her. Her anger was understandable, and though her inclination towards violence and her family's brutal laws could be questioned, Rogue was far too enamored with Kaino Saxe to think anything other than the best of her. Or maybe Rogue was just reeeeally into crazy girls.
His offer to fight caught her interest and she rose to face off with him, laughing when he promised not to go easy on her. She returned his promise and Rogue flashed a cheeky grin at the smoke and lavender fae. "Maybe go a little easy on my face and avoid my dick. They're my best features." Their playful banter done, Kai kicked things off with a burst of energy that caught Rogue off guard. His bob-tailed lover rushed him like a bolt of purple lightning, and before he could react Rogue felt the slam of her shoulder into his chest with a surprising amount of force for the smaller, slighter wolf.
Rogue gave an "oof!" as the wind was knocked out of him, paws stumbling back a couple paces as he instinctively lowered his chin to protect his throat. That turned out to be the right move as he felt Kai's teeth graze over his chin. "Fucking hell, you're spicy today!" remarked the Klein brute with a playful laugh. Rogue backpedaled a couple of steps to try and put some space between them before shifting his weight and pushing forward into Kaino, aiming to shove her back with the same move, though with a lot more wolf behind his force. He sought to use his size and weight against her, lifting a thickly corded forelimb to try and wrap around the back of her neck, sharp diamond claws extended and seeking to grasp onto her scruff to secure a hold on her to prevent her from darting away.
