Grimoire moved faster than he had anticipated, turning to meet his movements. The brutes head slammed into Epimethius's right side of his chest, but he held his ground, even as he felt the wind rush from his lungs and the dull ache settle into the muscle. He knew that there would likely be bruising sprouting from that spot soon. He did appreciate that Grimoire had not attempted to skewer him though.

While one of his hits had landed, he did not have much time to celebrate it before the larger man went for his flesh. He moved only slightly, just enough for the bite to hit the shallow muscle of his shoulder. Tit for tat you know. He seized the moment his opponent made contact with his flesh to lunge forward, hoping to drive his own teeth into the supple flesh of his opponent's lower neck, where it made contact with his right upper shoulder.
