Citadel slid out from under Empousa, and was trying to put some distance between them. The other wolf was reaching for him, and Citadel slid out of the way, his paws churning the earth beneath him. Empousa hit the same ground with her forepaws, and suddenly slid forward. Bringing her head right up to him, and he knocked his crystals lightly against her skull.

“I won! So there! Not just a puppy! Maybe I should give you some pointers!” He crowed, mocking and exhilarated both. He totally just won against an adult because he was epic, and not because the ground was slippery. That was just fact.
