"A long time then?" He mused aloud, a step toward her taken, his nose swaying as if to catch the scents like he didn't know them already. "He had you for a while? Pity..." He aimed to take another step closer. "I could have shown him what I like to do when something of mine is kept from me." With the practiced reflexes of an accomplished hunter, he leaped over the shore toward her. His massive body aimed to overcome any viable attempt at running as his arms grasped at her shoulders and his maw opened to clasp over her neck and entrap her himself.
