Gotta Go Fast

Having met up with the maned wolf named Jynn, the pair decided to have a race. What better place to do it than where the risk was great and the pleasure of winning would be greater? "Let's race to the far end of these pits, eh? Winner gets...." The striped fae considered for a moment, then chuckled to the other fae. "Winner gets respect."

With another little chuckle, Star settled herself behind a line that she drew in the dark, sandy ground. This would indeed be a dangerous race, but the idea that they could die got the Dunamis fae's blood pumping. Not only would they be racing, but doing so with such risk would teach them both how to be delicate on their paws and how to be terribly observant of the terrain around them.

"Ready, set.... GO!" Having counted down, the lithe woman launched herself forward. She dodged the first pit with ease, her slender form cutting across a small bridge of land between two pits. An inch to the left and she would go in. Her heart raced and there was a smile on her maw.
