Everything was going according to plan. The decor was nicely set up, the feast and drinks were laid out, now all that was left were for the guests to arrive, and eventually, Medusa and Erebos. She sat beside Kronos as they waited, and one by one the guests began to arrive. She had some reservations about her mother marrying into this family...or them marrying into the Mortems...but whatever made her mother happy, she supposed. She wasn't sure what to think of the Dunamis or what their motives were, if any, but she supposed she would find out sooner or later. Her mother seemed to love this Erebos a great deal, so until he proved he wasn't fit, she'd let this thing slide. Her mother, while she had her quirks and wasn't the brightest in some aspects, wasn't entirely stupid either. But sometimes things weren't as obvious to her as they were to others. All she knew was that if they betrayed her family, there would be hell to pay. One way or another. And she knew for a fact that she and the rest of Medusa's brood would see to that.

Her gaze flicked to Redrum, knowing that he would be among the first to execute the pain should it come to that. Ah, but she didn't have long to linger on the thoughts as others arrived. The first of Avalon's members approached, asking where he could place a gift for the couple. "Your gift is appreciated, Alarr. You may place it on one of the tables over there," She motioned to the side of the pond where things were laid out. Her attention returned to those arriving, finding Enki waiting for Medusa. The woman would make her appearance, and Rue couldn't help the tiniest of smiles as she looked at her mother. Medusa deserved so much in life after all the trials and tribulations she had received, all the hard work she had done. Her smile faded back into a grim line as the thoughts returned. She'd be damned if Medusa's legacy was stripped away. No. She wouldn't let that happen for as long as she was alive.
