Aresenn loped through the sparse pines, his paws crunching lightly on the thin crust of snow. His russet fur rippled over taut muscles as he moved with purpose, orange eyes scanning the territory with unwavering focus. A foreign scent suddenly caught his attention, causing him to slow his stride. The notes of the unfamiliar wolf's scent seemed to indicate it was a newly acquired Sidi. The ownership of slaves never appealed to Aresenn- though it was clearly a big part of the Saxe heritage. He generally chose not to take heed to any of it.
But even still, his curiosity was piqued. Aresenn followed his nose, weaving between the clusters of pines until he spotted the obsidian brute lounging against one of the trees- older than a yearling, but not quite a man. The stranger's unkempt fur and restless crimson eyes gave him a wild, unpredictable look that immediately set Aresenn on edge. He approached with purpose, muscles coiled and ready to react at a moment's notice in the event he had to assert himself
"You there," Aresenn called out, his deep voice carrying an air of authority. "Identify yourself." He halted a short distance from the other wolf, studying him with a critical gaze.
"Aresenn Praetor"
