Hunting season

Alaric finished tying up the last of the rope. Unlike most wolves, his childhood and the opportunity to learn in it was stolen from him when he became a slave. So, he had to learn a bit late in life. The Freeman's Guild taught him how to fight, steal, and murder. They didn't teach him how to hunt much, but he did well enough on his own to learn. Besides, what's the harm in sharpening a few skills?
"Fair enough. I'll tell them to stay behind them." Alaric nodded and respected her wishes. He glanced over towards the large cane corsos. "You two stay out and stay quiet. We'll be done shortly." He instructed the two, who went and sat down a fair distance away. He turned his attention back to Enyo. "Ready when you are." He told her and began to take charge tracking the doe. His head lowered to the ground and he inhaled the scent of the deer deeply. It wasn't until the deer was in his sights did he pause, muscles tensing, as he waited for the signal to begin the chase.
