Empousa watches with narrowed eyes as it flings the lifeless body of the pale stranger around, the feeling gathering in her gut was not fear for others. It was merely a grotesque curiosity and now a need to keep herself and the few she cared for. Like the pretty brown lady, she had seen here only days, maybe weeks ago. And then she sees her again, an angel against the beach, and her heart lurches. This time a heavy need to protect, to save, to keep her from seeing this falls deep into her chest.

Hatred for the creature bubbles its way into her throat, coming out as an almost rabid-sounding snarl. As it squishes the wolves, she finds a way down to the beach. Quickly, rushing her way down she comes to Jay's side. Worry and concern are clear in her features as she realizes one of the wolves that were crushed was clearly someone of her kin. And she remembers just how much her family had mattered to Jay, and she reaches to offer a comforting touch. To shield her from the onslaught. To console her. She wished to do it all but the emotion growing in her brain was to rip, to tear to try and do as much damage as she could so that Jay would be okay.

"I'll be back, stay safe please." She muttered the words softly, gently. It came out as if she was scared of scaring the poor girl all over again as if she were a stranger trying not to have a shaking pup flee. And then her eyes were set back on the worm, taking steps past the few who gathered near. Both lifeless bodies and still living bodies, she aims to jump onto the back of the worm. To dig her claws into the spaces between the odd scales. To stay on, but not to do damage. It wasn't like they could do any damage even if she wanted them to. And then to began shredding its back, trying to rip and tear as much as she could until she could no longer stay on its back.
