As Ultyr wrapped a paw around her and held her closer her tail started to wag against his side and a smile planted itself on her lips. "If that's your bird, little bird, I'd keep an eye on it. Seagulls might decide its a lovely dinner and a song." A look at Ganymede and she nodded, taking the advice like it was an order. It wasn't really her bird but she supposed it probably would be seen that way. She wasn't going to hold the creature hostage by any means, but she would enjoy it's presence all the same.
Then there was another approaching and Ultyr was rising, putting her between his front legs and she dropped her smile and leaned somewhat against his leg, her paw coming to wrap around his leg she leaned against. Ears pinned as she looked between the three of them. A look at Ganymede, questioning. Was she supposed to know this wolf who was now snarling at Ultyr? Her hips lifted as the words left the other's mouth and more filed in. "You have three seconds to get right with your gods, demon. Assuming you have any." Her little rotund form placing herself between the pink angry lady and Ultyr with raised spinal fur and a glare. She may not be a fighter but that wasn't any way to treat him, and she would do her best to deter the other woman. She leaned against both of Ultyr's legs keeping herself between them. Then more were coming out of the woodworks. Another earthen male and then a pale albino female. Her ears fell to the sides. This was a lot of wolves for just the two of them.
"Vayne? Why's Atreyu acting like this?" Atreyu, Vayne, she had names to two of the faces now. Her stance didn't exude the confidence Ultyr's did. Her tail kissed her stomach. "What is going on here?" The words from the albino were confused, just as much as she was for the immediate call to harm Ultyr. The white and black as he came into the fold's words holding the same curiosity and perhaps confusion. "Atreyu. We have found you at last." Ultyr's voice had a easy way about it, but the tension in the air was palpable. She could taste it. "If you might recall, I am the only god I know." He wasn't too wrong, she had no beliefs in gods still but he did, and he wouldn't see others. Her own had abandoned her, but if gods did exist, perhaps he was the closest she would get to one. "God, you?" Her eye went to the other who scoffed at the belief of another a small scrunch of her mouth in distaste. "And here I thought a god would be more impressive. How disappointing." How rude. Her face relaxed after only a brief moment though. She wasn't going to win any battles thrown at her, and she knew sugar over vinegar was a better way of winning others over.
"She needs assistance. We believe she is days away from delivering... h...our... pups." A breath, she leaned her shoulder into him as much as possible. She hoped to hope that Ultyr didn't plan on leaving her with these wolves while he went looking more. They seemed savage and she wasn't one to enjoy violence. Not even if it were just a coliseum battle for riches and glory. A look to Ganymede as the next words left Ultyr's mouth, she would rather he lie this time. These savages smelled familiar but if this was how they treated someone just for being a conqueror's son then she wasn't here for it. Best not to give them more reason to attack. "I've never injured either of them,"
Then to the other side cam a snarl and she jumped as there was an explosion. Her form moving as quickly as possible, eyes wide. Her form only making it a few steps away, closer to Ganymede before instinct to submit took over, half tail curling as much as possible to her belly and round form flopping to her side, away from the likely collision of bodies and snarls and spittle. Ears pressed and throat exposing to both. Placation over fighting. Ultyr would understand, hopefully. The fight had left her seasons ago, left on that chain somewhere in Archnemes. Wide eyes squeezed shut and ears pressed back and she tried to keep from angering anyone else.
